The Summit Contact Manager gives you the ability to easily track contacts with people, and gives you automatic reminders of appointments, upcoming birthdays, Christmas card lists etc. It tracks details of peoples relatives, profiles, groups and user defined fields. It can record details of up to three addresses per person. Records can be imported from a variety of sources and the Summit Contact Manager gives real-time duplicate checking during the import process.
The Summit Contact Manager comes with a powerful Reporter that lets you select and target specific groups of people and then produce user defined lists or address labels. As well as printing reports, any list or report can also be sent as an e-mail attachment, exported to Microsoft Word, exported to Microsoft Excel, exported to a text file or converted to an HTML page for publishing on the web.
From the Reporter you can also export name and address details to a variety of formats, produce mail-merge documents for the selected people or send them all an e-mail message. If you have Winfax Pro you can also broadcast fax a document from the Reporter. For Summit users there is also the ability to automatically send the selected people to a Summit event file.
For Summit Event Manager users, the Summit Contact Manager lets you keep a master database of people who have attended events with details of their participation in each event.
You can send people on the Summit Contact Manager database directly to a Summit event file, without opening the event file, either one at a time from the persons People form or in batches from the Reporter.
If a person's name and address details are modified in an event file, the change can be automatically mirrored back in your master database. (Requires Summit Pro 2000 version 7.06 or higher).
You can use Summit Contact Manager as a master database in conjunction with other event management software packages but while peoples records can be imported, event and participation details need to be entered manually.
If you have the optional "import from event file" component you simply point Summit Contact Manager at a Summit event file and it will automatically add new people to the database together with their event participation details. It will update the cumulative event participation history for people already on the Summit Contact Manager database.

With the Summit Contact Manager you can forget the frustrations of sending and receiving name and address information in formats that you can't read. For example, sending name and address information in Microsoft Word mail-merge format to someone who doesnt have Microsoft Word loaded on their computer.
The Summit Contact Manager gives you an easy way to share your database information with others. You simply send your contact manager database to the other person and they can download a free Summit Contact Viewer from the web. The viewer will not let them change any information but they will be able to open People databases that have been sent to them and run off reports.
People you send these databases to will be able to use the information free-of-charge, instantly without having to worry about data conversions, what order fields are in or whether or not they have the software to read the information.
All features of the software are enabled and you can try it out for as long as you like. The only restriction is that the number of people on any single database is limited to 20 until the software is registered.
